I’m not an executive, contractor, or public service employee. Can we still work together?

While most of our clients are executives, consultants, or have that public service/Defence background, they’re not the only people we work with. We work across a broad range of industries, from nursing and finance professionals through to tradespeople and machine operators. So if you’re not sure, just ask.

I see you’re based in Canberra. Is it okay if we work together virtually?

We sure can. Our clients are based all over Australia (and many of them move around pretty regularly!).

What’s your process?

1. Enquiry

After you enquire, we’ll ask a few questions to make sure we’re the right fit for what you need, tailor a package, and put together a quote.

2. Conversations

We’ll organise a time to chat individually with your people who need help to transition to a new role. We discuss their goals, experience, skills, and how we can help. It’s a collaborative process, so their input is extremely important!

3. Writing 

Most of our outplacement packages include resume and cover letter writing services to help your people quickly and confidently move into new roles. After chatting with each person, we’ll draft these documents up, with initial copies usually sent within 7 days.

4. Finalising

We’ll arrange a time for another phone call (or email!) to go through the documents with each person. This is where we’ll gather any last bits of information and answer any questions. Then we do a final edit and make sure everything is formatted perfectly.

5. Success!

It’s over to your people to submit their documents, nail their interviews, and hopefully nab their ideal role or project! Either way, they walk away with the tools they need to smoothly transition into their next role.

How soon will you deliver my documents?

Most of the time, we can turn around resumes and cover letters within 7 days. However, if we’re providing outplacement services to a large team or department, it could take a little longer. Make sure you contact us as early as possible so that we can provide help at the right time - ideally before your employees’ current roles finish up.

I need help yesterday. Is it too late to work with you?

If you’ve got an urgent job, send us a message and let us know as much information as possible. We’ll get back to you ASAP and will let you know if we can squeeze you in, or suggest an alternative service.

What’s included in outplacement services?

Outplacement services include assisting redundant (or soon-to-be- redundant) employees with the support they need to smoothly transition into a new role. Depending on the package you choose, we can include:

  • Cover letter writing
  • Selection criteria responses
  • Introductions to match clients with suitable employment opportunities

How much do your outplacement services cost?

The cost of your outplacement services will depend on the number of employees you’d like covered, and what specific services they need. If you’d like a quote, please get in touch with our team.

What are your payment terms?

We’ll send through our full terms with your quote, but to sum it up:

  • Upfront payment is required on all services before we start writing
  • All pricing is in Australian dollars

Can you guarantee success?

Sadly, no. While we do our very best work for our clients and are confident we’ll give you that edge to increase your chances... we only control a small piece of the puzzle. After we’ve finished creating professional documents, it’s over to each individual to submit the documents, ace the interview, and be the right person for the role. The important thing is that they’ll be confident and ready for that amazing opportunity when it hits.
